Sammy Rangel tells his captivating life story of a childhood lost to unspeakable abuse, crime, and incarceration and does so with brutal honesty. With courage, he traded his anger and hate for compassion and helping others to learn to forgive and believe that change is possible. Sammy is the Executive Director of Life After Hate, and author of Fourbears: The Myths of Forgiveness
Susan Balk, Founding Director of St. Louis-based Hatebrakers, an organization that helps people overcome hatred, and recipient of the 2017 Jewish Light Unsung Hero Award, will introduce Mr. Rangel.
