Book Club Plans for 2023
Many thanks to Vivian Zarkowsky for hosting the Book Club on December 5. And thanks to Joyce Hochberg for leading the lively discussion of the powerful and dramatic historical novel “By Fire Possessed: Dona Gracia Nasi,” by Sandra Toro.
The Book Club meets at 7:15-8:45 PM on the fourth Monday of odd-numbered months. The scheduled Book Club selections starting January 2023 are as follows:
- January 23 – Israel: A Simple Guide to the Most Misunderstood Country on Earth
– by Noa Tishby - March 27 – The Lost Shtetl: A Novel by Max Gross
- May 22 – The Watchmakers: A Story of Brotherhood, Survival, and Hope Amid the Holocaust by Harry Lenga and Scott Lenga
