The Four Questions – Dan Winograd

Why were last week’s questions different from other weeks’ questions? 😉
Returning to our little game, Mr. Bruce Waxman hands it off to:

DAN WINOGRAD

Dan and his wife Melanie grew up in St. Louis, and lived in Houston for a couple of years right after marriage (over 17 years ago). They moved to the NHBZ neighborhood in May 2020, from down the U-City street. Dan is the extremely proud father of three children, Jacob (14), Benjamin (12), and Evie (8), who are actually 5th generation NHBZ members. He devotes his workday to a 30-practice dental roll-up, serving as CFO. When not working, he can usually be found at one of his kid’s sporting events.

1. Who is your favorite Torah personality and why?
   A. “Similar to a good thriller, I like the stories of Joseph, because of all of the twist and turns.”
   
2. What is your favorite snack food?
   A: “Peanut butter pretzels. Anything with peanut butter and salty usually is good.”
   
3. Three words that best describe you?
   A: “Optimistic, humble and practical.”
   
4. What inspires you?
   A: “My wife; my kids; a good Shabbos drasha or class”
