This past Sunday, April 11 2021 NHBZ presented a joint program with Musar Avicha Shul of Maaleh Adumim, Israel, in honor of Yom HaZikaron (Israel’s Remembrance Day) “A Hero in Heaven”; a discussion with Mark & Harriet Levin who spoke about their son Michael’s life. Michael’s memory and courage live on in the thousands of lone soldiers who continue down the path he set.
Mark & Harriet Levin lead a discussion about their son Michael’s life. Michael made Aliyah from Philadelphia in 2002 and joined the I.D.F. Michael Levin was 22 years old when he fell fighting for the country he loved. Michael’s memory and courage live on in the thousands of lone soldiers who continue down the path he set, and the Lone Soldier Center his parents established in their son’s memory.
